Geocache Description:


A tad harder, a tad farther than what? Glad you asked, why La Munition Conteneur II (this time in English) of course. The original name of this cache was going to be La Munition Conteneur III, A Tad Harder, A Tad Farther but GC.com doesn’t allow that many letters in a cache title. Hence…

Actually it might not be harder (they almost rhyme) but it certainly is farther. Choose your path wisely, one route might have a few more hills than the other but where the other route lacks in hills it makes up for it with the addition of manzanita, brush oak and white thorn to navigate through but like one caching friends says, “that’s the fun way”.

Some things in common with the other two La Munition Conteneur:
1) A short hike/walk from a paved road with plenty of parking. Short is a relative term.
    a. Approx 0.9 of a crow flying mile from the 4/wd parking (1 way).
    b. My moving time, a tad over 1.2 hours
2) Spectacular views/scenery.
    a. See included pictures.
3) Ammo can hide.
4) Granite vistas. (see 2a).
5) On or near the Hwy 88 corridor.
6) No complicated puzzle to figure out.
