West Lake Nature Preserve, like many other natural areas in
Michigan, is being over run with Garlic Mustard.
Please come out Saturday morning, May 15, from 9am to
11am and help rid this beautiful preserve of this invasive,
exotic species. At the same time, we can do a little CITO by
picking up the litter or junk that's present.
You can help keep one of Kalamazoo County's nicest hiking and
wildlife areas clean; and also enjoy the camaraderie of fellow
cachers while doing this good thing.
Refreshments and clean-up materials will be provided. Please
post a "will attend" if you can join in the fun so we have an idea
how many refreshments and clean-up materials we'll need.
If you're like many folks, you may not know much about Garlic
Mustard, so please click on THIS LINK to learn
more about this nasty, invasive critter before the event.

footwear for these...or not, but that's entirely up to you.
