Geocache Description:

Falmer Focus #14

A 10 mile circuit of the South Downs above Falmer, taking in a variety of downland, farmland and woodland. There are lots of hills, and some great views. There are thirty one caches in total, including one Ponds, Dewponds and Lakes cache, and one puzzle cache.

There is a mixture of micros and small clip boxes, and none can be described as challenging hides, allowing you to savour the walk and the scenery. There are no bonus caches, and you are free to join the route wherever you like, or walk in either direction, however starting in Stanmer Park, where there is ample parking, is recommended, as is walking in a clockwise direction.

For those using public transport, local buses and trains stop very close to Falmer Focus #29
