10 speed - a bicycle with gears arranged to provide 10 different speeds while pedaling.
This cache was placed while I was out riding my bike. I'm training to ride the DALMAC this fall, so I've been combining riding and caching when I can. The GPS makes it easy to track my speed and distance.
This spot seemed ideal, and since I had a container with some trinkets in it already, it was easy to throw it in my backpack and bring it along.
Bonus points if you ride your bike to find this one!
Update: The cache has been replaced. It's now a plastic tube maybe 7-8" long and 3" in diameter. It will contain small trade items. Let's see how long this one lasts.
One caution: I came down with a mild case of poison ivy about 2-3 weeks ago. The time would have been about consistent with when I placed this cache. When I replaced it, I looked for signs of the vile weed, and didn't see any. If you see any while searching, post a note here about it.
