The cache is located near the beautiful Palm Beach
of Preveli, Southern Crete at the Libyan Sea. To arrive there from
Plakias you turn right after the village of Lefkogia following the
signs to Monastery Preveli (Monastery of Agios Ioannis). Before
arriving at the monastery you turn left to the parking area of
Limni Preveli (N 35 09.224 E 024 28.215). Please note that parking
is not free during summer time (Car July 2011: EUR 2,00; July 2010:
EUR 1,50)
To fully enjoy the view we strongly recommend to
walk 129 steps down to the view point at N 35 09.163 E 024 28.316)
There you will have a great view over the beach and the southern
coast.
