Honeybee #3 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Hives: Went and checked this one out since it has been such a long time since its last find. It was not in its hidey spot. This area has a history of troublesome finds and doesn't seem all that user friendly given some of its history so am freeing the area up to anyone else that might want to give it a go.

Geocache Description:

The Honeybee collection is a set of caches where BeBe has visited in search of caching nectar. Number 3 is now off and flitting about as well.

This series is my initial effort to give back to a sport that I have derived much fun and pleasure from.

BeBe the mascot bee
BeBe is the mascot of the Hives.

Worker bees cooperate to find food and use a pattern of "dancing" (known as the bee dance or waggle dance) to communicate information regarding resources with each other; this dance varies from species to species, but all living species of Apis exhibit some form of the behavior. (Something quite similar can sometimes be observed when several geocachers approach GZ.) If the resources are very close to the hive, they may also exhibit a less specific dance commonly known as the "Round Dance". Honey bees also perform tremble dances which recruit receiver bees to collect nectar from returning foragers .

(There is some sweetness awaiting the FTF!)
