Geocache Description:

From Guampedia.com and A History of Guam:

Gadao was a legendary chief of Inarajan who, according to legend, outsmarted a chief from Tumon who came to Inarajan to challenge Gadao to contests of strength. Part of the legend tells how the two powerful chiefs rowed a canoe in opposite directions, breaking the canoe in half. As Gadao paddled, he dug into the reef in Merizo creating Asgadao Bay. His half of the canoe became lodged in the reef and is now Asgadao Island.
