Fore! #3 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

This is the third of a series of caches I plan to place in these woods which surround Barnehurst Golf Course. I have come here many times with my children and have enjoyed the circular route you can take whilst circumnavigating the golf course. What is especially nice is that there are many types of birds (including parakeets) plus some super-charged squirrels to keep you entertained. However, areas can get a bit muddy when it has been raining hard, so leave your white flip-flops at home. You will not need to go onto the golf course and this whole area is owned by the local council so is therefore public property. Parking can be found in the roads surrounding it such as Parkside Avenue, Old Manor Way or some of the roads off of Manor Way. Be aware that during the week, there are parking restrictions between 10 and 12. It is also very close to Barnehurst Station. You can access the area a number of ways but I go through a gate at the end of Old Manor Way. Other entrances are off of Perry Street and Taunton Close. Lastly, you will encounter a number of dog walkers and ramblers, so watch out for the muggles and a meandering Fatbrit.
