Bluebirds are everywhere here! Most people call them "East Texas Bluebirds", but technically they are known as "Eastern Bluebirds" and they are known throughout Texas from the I 35 corridor eastward. As I was hiding this cache, one flew right by my nose and landed about 10 feet away. He seemed to be a pretty happy little guy (well, he is a bluebird) so I let him watch me hide the cache if he swore he would never tell. He didn't promise me anything, so if you're looking around for this one and a bluebird flies by, you might want to stop and listen closely. He may be telling you where it is. You'll be happy you did. Cache has been approved and permit is on file with park staff. Good luck!
