Donkey & Sheep: Time to archive I'm afraid. The gates to the distillery carpark are now locked so safe (and legal) access to the cache is probably not possible.

Managed to get in to retrieve the cache, thereby complying with the rules of geocaching.com

Geocache Description:

A small cache located just off the public footpath which runs between Bladnoch Distillery Lade and the River Bladnoch.

The cache is a small clipbox with a logbook and a pencil (to be kept with the cache), and a few swappables.

Parking is available in the Distillery car park, and please have consideration for the owners when getting to the path, it does go through their garden!! From the carpark, go between the house and the Function Hall and follow the path along the top of the garden keeping the Lade on your right. The path does lead down towards the tidal weir, however the path condition deteriorates some distance beyond the cache site.
