Geocache Description:

Use the Geochecker to check your solution! The corrected cache coordinates will be revealed when you satisfy the Geochecker.

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE ABOVE COORDINATES But will take you to a plaza at Union Station, where you can begin your your search for items to count. You may wish to park at the Tacoma Dome Station on S 25th Street and ride the free Tacoma Link Light Rail. Parking is free if there is no event at the Tacoma Dome.

The coordinate solution is N47° AB.CDE W122° FG.HIJ

Location of where to find each item. Note "West" is the end by Union Station. "East" is the end by the Museum of Glass.

 bridge

NORTH COORDINATES
Go to the very center of the Venetian Wall Display at the east end of the bridge, facing the glass art. At the very center is the METAL FRAME of the enclosure. In the first column to the left of the center, count the number of large piece(s) for A. (You are only counting the number of large piece(s) in the one column to the left of the very center frame.)

In the first column to the right of the center, count the number of small piece(s) for B. (You are only counting the number of small piece(s) in the One column to the Right of the very center frame.)

Head east to the end of the bridge. As you enter the Plaza look to your left and count the number of rules or bullets on the sign mounted on the wall for C. (No need to go into the glass enclosure where the elevator is located, the sign is near the railing as you exit the bridge, on the left, which is the North side.)

Go to the west side of the bridge to the Seaform Pavilion and count the number of panels in the ceiling for DE

WEST COORDINATES
Head east again to the end of the bridge but this time stand on the right, or South side where the railing is mounted in the tile. Stand on the cement tile and count this as tile number one. Now look east and you should see that the row you are standing on is the same row as the handrail of the steps. Walk toward the handrail and count the number of tiles in the row for FG (you should not count the last "half" tile but DO count the first partial tile you are starting/standing on).

As you are walking back and fourth across the bridge, look at ALL the concrete benches on the bridge and note the number of skatestops (brackets that deter skateboarding by eliminating a continuous edge) on each bench. Please note that sometimes skatestops are removed. This number assumes all are present and should be easily determined as they are evenly spaced apart and you'll generally see a different color paint where the skatestop is supposed to be located. Count the number of concrete benches that have an odd number of skatestops for H. (Concrete benches with an even number of skatestops should not be counted. "ALL" means freestanding and benches built into the wall. You may count the long bench by the Venetian Wall as one bench or count every section between two post as an individual bench—your final answer will be the same)

Go to the top of the steps at the east end of the bridge and count the total number of handrails Originating at the top of the stairs (including those mounted to the walls) for I.

Count the number of "towers" in the Crystal Towers for J.

This cache is placed on public property to blend in with the environment in such a way as not to be noticed by muggles and not to damage property by geocachers. Please replace the cache without force so that the following statement is both true upon your arrival and after your departure: If it does not easily open, move, unscrew, etc.—then it's probably not the cache. If you are going to move aside any plants, please do so gently as not to cause any damage. The cache can remain at it's location as long as no noticeable wear-and-tear is created by it's placement.
