Geocache Description:

The Tree Top Cache is for those who can appreciate the combination of grownup engineering and a child's imagination.

This should be an easy find for people who enjoy hiking. Park on Eagle Drive at Crimea Mansion or at the Franklintown Road parking area for the Gwynns Falls Bike Trail. Then it is up to you to find the cache. A trail map of the park may be found at the Friends of Gwynns Fall Leakin Park map page. If you want a paper copy of the trail map you can stop in to the Orianda office at the mansion during visiting hours, and see the director who may provide one. More information about the Orianda Estate and the mansion may be found at Friends of Orianda page. If you have a good eye you might notice the burial mounds not far from the cache. Don't miss the different rocks in the area of black, blue and orange as an interesting lode runs right through the region. Happy caching. Update 4/10/2011: A cacher just informed me he found 2 caches at this location. This explains the missing cache last year, someone didn't put the cache where it was supposed to go and I replaced the cache. So now there are 2 caches for the price of one. I know the one is where it supposed to be, the other is nearby. So the second cache has become the extra credit portion. Good luck.
