Geocache Description:

Yew not find Santa here
One of a series of caches on both banks of the river Tay.

Pack a Scooby Snack, a soft drink, and head out to enjoy a level walk along the banks of the River Tay to see some of the best views of the Big Tree Country no matter the time of year and collect a few caches.

Starting at the “What the 'ell?” next to the Dunkeld Cross ( head into Stanley Hill and walk along the new path at the rear of the Cathedral.

Walk upstream till you reach the new A9 bridge, walk under the bridge and follow path up to the roadside path.

*** The A9 is a very busy road. Keep to footpaths at all times. ***

Cross over bridge, from the North side to the South side, and enter road B898 for Inchmagrannachan. 10 yards into this road turn right onto a small pathway and enter arch to walk under the main Perth to Inverness train line.

Nice wee Snaik cache around here A Nined .

Then it’s back along the south banks of the River Tay for a few more caches.

Cross the River Braan via the wooden bridge then walk under the main A9 road to rejoin the River Tay.

On reaching the Old A9 bridge, walk through the arch and go up the narrow stone steps next to the Toll House. Walk over the bridge and your back into Dunkeld.
