This is my tribute to the "Original Stash" in honor of Geocaching turning 10 years young.

I wanted to place a replica to the " GCF The Original Stash" for sometime now and this is as good an opportunity as any. I am going to copy it, as best I can, in every way possible (right down to the contents and the log with the previous finders on it). Can you image that this was a 1/1 cache back then, YIKES!!! I know they had no idea it would balloon into what it has become.
Contents will include:
a copy of DeLorme Topo USA software
video (George of the Jungle)
book (H. Ross Perot paperback)
FOOD (The O.C.B, black-eyed peas actually)
money ($5)
a slingshot
( I must tell you that some of this stuff was EXTREMELY hard to come by 10 years later!!!) but I did it.
The contents of the marked container are to stay in the container and in the cache. This is a time capsule, of sorts, placed 10 years ago today by Dave Ulmer and is/was the start of Geocaching as we know it.
Coords averaged for 360+ seconds.
Accuracy : 8.8 ft.
Elevation : 623 ft.
