Great views; wear good ankle-supporting boots as the trail is rocky and often uneven.
This is a sandwich-sized Tupperware container inside a Ziploc. it contains wine corks, some old UNcanceled postage stamps from the 1950s and 1960s, a couple of dreidels and a pencil for signing the logbook which I FORGOT! You can log your visit on the back of the geocaching explaination page until I can get up there and put a little notebook in it. The terrain here is all shaped by volcanoes ... old inactive vents abound as do old lava flows. When youj stop for one of the views, just imagine what the view must have looked like when the valley was filled with eruptions! Cache altitude is between 1,415 ft (barometeric altimeter) and 1, 448 ft (GPS)
