Pohatu Nuva: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

LAT: Hidrologisko merijumu stacija Ventas krasta. Piebraukt
iespejams ar auto bez papildus aprikojuma. Vienigais man zinamais
cels var nebut iezimets dazas kartes, tas ved garam netalu
atrodamajam Griezes baznicas cache (GC1V594).
ENG: Hydrological measurements station on the bank of the river
Venta. The location can be reached by car without any special
equipment. The only road I know passes the nearby cache Griezes
baznica (GC1V594), and it might not appear on some maps.
LAT: Konteiners - 0.4l hermetiska kastite. Sakotnejais saturs -
zimulis, logbuks, zimulu asinatajs un paris niecini.
Pec Latvijas Vides, Geologijas un Meteorologijas centra internata
lapa pieejamas informacijas, sis stacijas nosaukums varetu but
"Vardava" un merijumi saja stacija tiek veikti 2x menesi. Ja
koordinatas kadam rada saubas, kura Ventas krasta cache atrodas,
tad varu precizet - tas atrodas Latvija. Galapunkta ir vieta
piknikam.
ENG: Container - 0.4l hermetic box. Initial contents - pencil,
logbook, pencil sharpener, and a few niceties.
According to the information available on the website of Latvian
Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, the station seems to
be called 'Vardava', and at this station measurements are performed
twice every month. For those who are not sure which bank of the
river Venta is the correct one, I can add that the cache is located
in Latvia. Picnic place available at the destination.
