Geocache Description:

A nice little park right next to Hollister Airport. A great place to hang out and watch the planes come and go. This airport serves as the location of the CalFire Air Attack Base which is responsible for fighting fires in 6 different counties. It also hosts the Aviation Maintenance Program for Gavilan College.

At times there could be lots of people here. Families like to gather here on the weekends for BBQs and parties. If you come by on a Saturday morning, there is usually a group of people that train their dogs here for agility, search and rescue, and guard work. Interesting to watch. Bring a writing tool.

*** Replaced cache on 6/3/13. A small camoed container that will hold small trade items. PLEASE replace as you found it or better and use the natural covering provided.
