Hidden along the 'Cat Trail' while out for an Easter bike ride with
my grandsons. The boys knew we were carrying a cache and were
curious about how far we were going to travel. "Are we there yet?"
soon enough became, "There's a good spot!" And sure enough it was.
The cache is just a few metres off the trail. There are various
possible access points for this cache. We chose to come at it from
Hwy 15 where there is great parking possible. We did bike along the
trail but the location is an easy walk from other spots. I've biked
the trail from Smiths Falls to Strathcona - some sections lots of
times. Having a cache or two to find along the way is just a bit of
added incentive! New and improved! On August 20th, 2010 the cache
was upgraded to an ammo box.
