Soapstone, soft and soapy to the touch - but don't try to use it to wash your hands or clothes. From the cache, you have a good view of Ngwenya ridge, and you're a stone-throw away from our place - the round house with the green roof just a bit further.
Soapstone is very easy to work with, and hence is very popular with the local carvers to make all sorts of statues and crafts. The soil below the cache is full of it - take a piece and try to work it yourself, a simple potatoe peeler knife can get you good results. I upped the difficulty a bit and turned it into a nano.
