All winter, la bandita had been looking out the windows of la
casa, sighing and looking generally miserable. When the first
signs of spring came, bandito noticed that there was a
disproportionate number of bags in the recycling pile that came
from various big-box home improvement stores. So, it really came as
no surprise to him when he returned home one day to find half of
the back yard torn up and a jardín de flor planted where
once there was lawn.
"I hope you have an explanation for this,
bandita!" he exclaimed.
"I do, replied bandita. "We needed more colores in the yard, so i planted a
jardín de flor. I hope you like it."
"I do," said bandito. "But I am certain that you did not plant them in this
particular order by accident."
Bandita blushed. "What gave it
away?"
"There is only one possible reason for someone to
plant un cero adentro un jardín de flor."
