Geocache Description:


Cache is not located at given coordinates - however they are a good place to park while you complete the "Strolling Through A-Town" Wherigo cartridge.

This Wherigo cache is located in the town of Allendale. It will take you on a walking, running, or bike riding tour through town. In total it will be over 7 miles round trip.

The Wherigo cartridge itself can be completed at any time day or night, but the actual finding of the cache will need to be during daylight hours only, unless you have previous permission of the cache owner.

The object of this Wherigo is to travel from one end of town to the other, and back, while remaining on the sidewalk. You will be given a little information about the area, and there may be a question or two requiring an answer.

In order to complete this cartridge you'll need some special equipment - a Wherigo player and the "Strolling Through A-Town" cartridge. The player comes pre-installed on several Garmin GPSr units including the Colorado and Oregon. The player is also available for some GPS enabled Pocket PC devices.
