Geocache Description:

Ravenswood is an old gold mining settlement, located about 130 kilometres south-west of Townsville. There’s a lot of old chimneys, poppet heads and discarded mine machinery still scattered around the town, as well as an operational gold mine nearby.

Unlike most of the town, this location seems to be free from muggles (mainly grey nomads) for much of the time. You can always take a walk up the path and enjoy the view, while waiting for the hoards from middle-earth to leave if they do happen to make an appearance.

It's an easy find, but be careful when searching. As the name suggests there are a few prickles and burrs to be found here during the wet season.

Please replace where and how you found it.
