North Chickamauga Canyon, Soddy-Daisy. Can be reached via trail or
creek bed. Terrain in the canyon can be difficult if not on trail.
Altitude gain from parking is area roughly 500 feet.
The cache is in a army ammo container and is located under a small
rock outcrop. The ammo container is often obscured by a pile of
rocks. The cache is near a bluff (be careful)and the location has a
great scenic view of the canyon. The cache is named after a toy I
bought in Weihai, China during a business trip. The original toy
was in the cache at time of placement. It has since been taken and
replaced with another China Ball (I bought several of them.) UPDATE
- The location of this cache has been described by one party as
dangerous. While I feel that common sense should be your guide,
please do not attempt to locate this cache if you are not
comfortable on steep trails or around rock bluffs. This cache does
NOT require climbing skills, just common sense safety practices.
