Geocache Description:

Unless you live in the area, you may not be aware that this is here. It boasts fantastic views of Norwich's landmarks, and has a rich and varied history. The cache is placed with the permission of the Green Spaces Officer for Norwich City Council, Paul Holley. Please note that the stipulation is it can be here as long as the historic ruins are not disturbed or damaged in any way. The cache is not, and can not be, placed in the ruins.

This place offers a unique chance to escape from the hustle and bustle of this part of Norwich. Fantastic pictorial views of Norwich, and also a good place for CITO if you have a little time. If you stand in just the right place, the cathedral can be seen, framed by two trees either side, natures own picture frame! There is only one unmarked entrance now, shown on the info boards in situ. There is very limited 2 hour parking at N52 38 0319 E 001 18 8118, parking can also be found on residential areas behind this. Watch out for permit parking areas in the vacinity. Entrance is through the double black metal gates. Unless you fancy bumping up a pram, it's best to take children on foot, as it's very steep. The cache contains a log book, swag and has space for TBs and GCs. Bring your own pen please. It is very well hidden and is camouflauged, due to this being a popular dog walking area. Please leave it how it is, and let me know if you need help or it has moved from the co-ords please.
