Begin at the North Chickamauga Creek Gorge State Park. Use the entrance from Montlake Road. There is ample parking but it can fill up during busy seasons. Park only in designated areas. This entrance is open 8am to 7pm.

Follow the trail system to the Boston Branch Overlook then begin looking for the cache.
Take the access trail from the parking area to the upper Hogskin Loop trail (on the right). Continue for approximately .55 miles then continue on the Cumberland Trail to Boston Branch Overlook, approximately 1.50 miles. From this area start looking for the cache.
NOTE: Terrain in the canyon is often steep and dangerous. Stay on established trails at all times. Use of a hiking pole is recommended though not essential. Bring water and a snack. It also advised to bring a headlamp/flashlight, whistle, and rain jacket. Canyon conditions can change quickly and it is best to be prepared.
The cache is in a container and located under a small
rock outcrop. The container is often obscured by a pile of
rocks. The cache is near a bluff (be careful)and the location has a
great scenic view of the canyon.
The cache is named after a toy I bought in Weihai, China during a business trip.
It was a superball that lit up when bounced, The China Ball. It was in the cache at time of
placement but has since been taken.
- The location of this cache should be considered dangerous.
While I feel that common sense should be your guide,
please do not attempt to locate this cache if you are not
comfortable on steep trails or around rock bluffs. This cache does
NOT require climbing skills, just common sense safety practices.
