Geocache Description:

Another cache along the Mesabi Trail. Located near Mile 46.

This cache is located in between Hibbing and Chisholm, with the closest access point coming from Chisholm.

You will find the cache just off the Mesabi Trail, near the over-look of the Glen-Godfrey Open Pit Mine. This is the 2nd largest open pit mine in the area, and used to contain 5 different working mines.

Across the pit is the Minnesota Discovery Center. (which is currently closed after many years of operation.)
