Geocache Description:

Grappenhall Wood used to contain a wonderful carved wizzard know as the Wizzard of the Wood. Saddly he's no longer there. This cache is to commemorate him.

This cache is an easy walk from Grappenhall Village where there are two good pubs for after caching refreshments.

We helped plant some of the trees in this wood as a family, with two young children armed with plastic spades and have often visited the Wizzard. Sorry he's disappeared, but its still a nice walk.

Many thanks to The Woodland Trust for allowing me to place this cache

FTF goes to exdreddedcath and Bethanybean 26/04/2010 - Well done.
