in our disclaimer.
Pubs are an important part of our heritage. Here is an opportunity to visit the best of them, sit in the garden, work out the clues and wander off in search of a cache a short stroll away.
Geocache guidelines: this cache series is not advocating any commercial transaction.
The coordinates are of the pub and not the cache.
You dont have to go inside the pub to answers any of the questions and you dont have to drink or eat anything if you are on a quick visit.
Photographs are very welcome, but please do not attach photos of the pub itself with the name in evidence or name the pub in your log...
The Real Ale Regular rules state that all the clues must be available even when the pub is closed
If the churches can have their Church Micros, let the pubs have their Real Ale Regulars...

Real Ale Regular pub number 3 in our series is a very pleasant one. I think the building is 17th century, but the date on the front is unbelievably old (See question below). Perhaps there is a record of the place going back that far, but I havent found any reference to it online. There is a very large outside garden where dogs are allowed and a large patio area with birds and shade where they arent...
The Real Ale Regular rules state that all the clues must be available even when the pub is closed though you may have to peer over the fence.
The following questions can be answered by standing in front of the pub or in the car park.
Answer these questions:
1. How many large round plant containers are there around the front and side of the pub (not including the patio)? A
2. How many diamonds are in the crown (give me a sign)? B
3. What is the date on the pub wall? CDEF
4 The tables & chairs in the patio are a distinctive colour. Which number of the rainbow? G
5. How many rows of bricks make up the well wall? H
.
The pub:
N52° 47.389 E000°05.929
The cache:
N51° G(H+B).G(C+E)(C+D) E000° FE.(A-D)(H-G)C
and in winter, at the cache, look out for the mistletoe...and kiss..
If you would like to add to the Real Ale Regulars series that would be splendid. Please email veganfiddler for the guidelines and a series number. Or if you would like to force veganfiddler to do more research himself, then email him your suggestions as to which pubs may be worth looking at...
