Geocache Description:


This cache was made available to those attending the Yankton 2010 Caching Event before being published.

In the winter this area is usually the only open water on this lake. There is a creek that runs into the lake which helps to keep it open, but mostly it is the 1000’s of ducks and geese that winter over here. I have been here when you couldn’t hear the person next to you for the noise they create. It is amazing to sit and watch as a huge flock gets up and eventually settles back in.

This area could use a little CITO. There is no writing utensil and please replace the cache as you found it. Have fun caching.
