Camo'd Altoids tin hidden along Faulty Trail
Ever notice that the higher up you are in the Sandia Mountains, the more you can see? Well, here is a scenic little area where that is certainly true.
Be careful, those rocks are sharper than they look (a hole in my jeans testifies to this fact)! Probably not a good cache for younger kids.
Difficulty based on I could not get the GPSr to settle down, so the coords may be off a bit. Feel free to post your final coordinates and any scenic pictures, if you make it to the top!
After reviewing Google Maps, it appears there is a likely trailhead much closer to these caches at the other end of the same picnic grounds (and once the gates are open, much closer parking, too)! If you go this route, please publish the alternate trailhead coords and I will put them in as a waypoint.
