Clough Road/Pike is one of the major roads on the eastern side of the greater Cincinnati area. It starts at Route 32 near the Beechmont Levee, and ends in Batavia.
We always get a kick out of hearing out-of-towners pronounce the name "Clough." Some variations we've heard are "Clow" (rhymes with "dough"), "Clue" (rhymes with
"through"). The correct pronunciation is "Cluf" (rhymes with "tough").
Clough used to end at Route 132, after going down a steep hill and over a railroad track. The road was re-located several years ago, and now ends at W. Main Street in Batavia.
You are looking for a plastic tube. There is a nice place to pull off the road here.
