Geocache Description:

Within Hidden Valley Regional Park as shown on Google Maps

From East McCarren>Pembroke Dr>Parkway Dr>Hidden Valley Regional Park. After entering the Park drive to southeast corner (note 2 water tanks on hill) and park at locked gait where walking access is available to continue on foot. The cache is less that 1000 ft from this point. If you walk towards the tanks you can cross the fence without crawling under. If you walk directly to the cache, you must cross a non-barbed fence. The hike is steep in spots with some loose gravel material. Altitude at the cache is almost exactly 4700 ft. The park is closed at night. The cache is a roughly 4 x 4 inch waterproof container with all the necessary logging tools, including 2 pencils, an eraser, and a sharpener. It contains a deck of playing cards, 8 cent stamp, trout fly, small polished stone and a green doodle thing.
