Geocache Description:

One of a series of caches placed on Kinnaber Links, just north of
Montrose, using a criss cross of paths

Charleton boat bothy lies just behind the high dunes separating the land from Montrose Bay. The area is still used by salmon fishermen to dry their nets on the poles.

One of the few fishing industries left along this stretch of coast, salmon fishing continues to be practiced in the traditional way.

The route round these caches is not considered to be buggy friendly due to stiles etc but would be possible with a strong buggy and a child who doesnt mind bumps!

All these caches are in popular dog walking areas so beware of muggles!

Cache is a 350ml lock and lock container
