Sapience Trek: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Located along the historic Erie Canal trail in Gasport, the terrain is not a problem...it's the distance that makes this cache more difficult. You will cover a total of 3 miles, unless you bike it right through to Middleport. This is a multi, 3 tier cache. The old version of this cache was archived and the second leg was changed a bit. This is officially the new v2.0 so have fun!!
The theme of this cache,"Beauty Inside and Out",was created to encourage cachers to dream big and learn that they are worth a little pampering...whether it be to their body, mind, soul, or spirit. The items in this cache should appeal to both men and women. It is my hope that the cacher finds their spirit renewed while enjoying the sights of nature and the process of reaching their goal. I've learned that there are many lessons to be learned in paralleling caching to the obstacles we face in our lives...so get out there and have fun! The cacher is encouraged to trade items that stick with the theme listed above:)
This was my very first cache plant so I wanted to make it enjoyable and interesting. The rating is mostly due to the distance...you should leave at least 1 1/2 hours to search for this cache...depending on how fast you walk. It is a 3 tier, multi with a great final hide. It is a regular size cache with all it's proper markings...you can't miss it. Just watch out for muggles in the warmer seasons:)
Note****I have been made aware that Leg One during the flourishing summer months may require poison ivy protection for the cacher.
