Geocache Description:

In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Geocaching and as part of Groundspeak's Lost and Found Tour, the Guam Geocachers are joining in the festivities being held around the world by holding this 10 Years! Event.

Place: Ypao Beach Park - Pavilion A2
Date: Saturday, May 1, 2010
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

If you're new to geocaching or want to learn more about this fun family sport, feel free to join us in this free event! This will be a potluck affair so we are asking everyone to bring a favorite dish. Soft drinks and water will be provided.

The tentative schedule is as follows:

10:00 am - Registration
10:15 am - Introductions, mixer game, raffle
10:30 am - Geocaching presentations by the Guam Geocachers
11:00 am - Lunch
12:30 pm - Picture taking/Cleanup

Please let us know if you will attend by clicking on "Log Your Visit" in the upper right hand corner of this page. Then, under "Type of Log", select "Will Attend". Under comments please let us know how many will be attending and what you will be bringing for the potluck. This will help us in our planning for this event.

We welcome any donations that can be used as door prizes. And of course, this is a geocaching event so don't forget to bring your GPS along! Please put this event on your watchlist so that you can receive any updates that come out. Hope to see you there!
