4th annual NARC Geocaching Event being promoted by the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg.
This event will once again be held at the Municipal Activity and Recreation Complex in Dayspring Nova Scotia, just outside of the town of Bridgewater. This site offers views of the LaHave River and contains a system of hiking trails.
The prupose of this event is to introdauce new people to geocaching and to give them the opportunity to spend the afternoon out on the trails with experineced geocachers hunting for demo caches.
There will be a morning intro to geocaching workshop from 9-12.
Event registration begins at 1200.
The demo caches will be available from 1300-1500 with doorprize draws after this time.
The Municipality of the District of Lunenburg is an avid supporter of geocaching as an equal recreational opportunity for everyone, having caches located in their parks throughout the county.
