ATM Cache (Avon Trail Multi) Multi-Cache
a_jester_a: I was out today doing some maintenance on my caches and there was a myriad of problems with this one so I've just decided to archive it, and possibly put a couple new hides along this section of the trail eventually. Stage one was missing, and the remains of a raccoon were right beside where it used to be. The final stage hiding spot had been altered and as this section of the trail is not used regularly, there is substantial overgrowth in the summer which makes for a difficult hike.

This is a two stage multi on the Avon Hiking Trail and will require a total hike of about 2km. The trail is fairly well marked with white markings on fence posts/trees/rocks etc along the way. Please be respectful of all rules and guidelines as outlined on the sign just to the right of the trail as you get started. NO NIGHT CACHING!! as the trail is closed from dusk til dawn. There will be no need to stray from the marked path by more than a few feet. See parking co-ordinates below.
This is a very nice hike along a stream on the Avon Trail. It's a two stage cache with Stage 1 being a camoed micro (film container) which contains the co-ordinates for the final which is a camoed medium sized plastic tubular container. The contents of the cache when launched were: logbook, pencil, rock stickers, kids compass, kaleidoscope, princess pencil and a make your own necklace kit. It's suitable for small tradeables. Please leave the cache sites exactly as you found them. Enjoy!
