Hypuronector Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

chaosmanor: Definitely missing, and we don't have another container like this one, so we are killing off this dino. Sorry that we didn't archive this sooner. Maybe someone more local can come up with another cache for this spot. Thanks to everyone who has gone fossil hunting out here [:)]

Geocache Description:

One of several caches that we hid while working on f0t0m0m's dinosaur series. All of ours are aquatic creatures of the Mesozoic era, to distinguish them from the land-based critters of the f0t0m0m series.

[191/169]

Despite the existence of a number of specimens of this small Triassic creature, there is much controversy surrounding what Hypuronector looked like and what its true habitat was. No complete skeletons have ever been found; in fact, no heads or feet have ever been recovered, so while certain aspects of it lead most paleontologists to believe that it was aquatic, there are some who believe that it was actually arboreal, as most of the other members of the Simiasaur group were. New Jersey is the only place where Hypuronector bones have been found.

You are looking for a small container about the size of a stick of butter.

Good luck! Have fun
