Discover Irchester Country Park
This former ironstone quarry has a network of long and short
trails through 83 hectares of mixed woodland and is home to a
wealth of wildlife.
Irchester Country Park is a great family park with fantastic
play area, picnic area's, refreshments and facilities.
As well as the Irchester Narrow Gauge Railway museum (which is
open on a Sunday), there is also the Jungle Parc for very active
children and adults!!
As a family, we thoroughly enjoy coming to Irchester and would
like fellow geocachers to enjoy as well. Thank you to
Northamptonshire County Council for giving us permission to place
this trail of 5 caches and thank you to the very kind park
rangers.
