Although I've lived in Macclesfield for nearly 8 years I've never been up into the void that lies between Buxton Road & Hurdsfield Road.
This cache is only accessable by foot, and I would suggest that you park on either of the main roads and do a circular route from the dirt track part of Higher Fence avenue going up past the 2 ponds and back down the ginnel in Telford Close.
There's also the nearby cache's on the canal that you can add into your walk.
