Geocache Description:

This is a letterbox hybrid cache. It contains a stamp that must be kept in the cache. If you have a personal logbook, feel free to "sign" it with our stamp.

Kalua is a traditional cooking method used in Hawaii. This cache and the stamp it contains is inspired by the luau feast we had in Hawaii during a trip there, where the kalua pig was the pièce de résistance.

The cache is located inside Orchard Park, in the South and Central district of Toronto. The posted coordinates will take you to a place to sit down. While sitting, image a line running from the closest tree behind you to the closest tree in front of you, and beyond. Walk along that line until your path is blocked, about 85 paces, and look for the cache.

Please post a "Needs maintenance" if you notice that the stamp has disappeared from the cache. Bring your own ink pad or markers, or use the fluorescent marker provided.

Many thanks to those who "sign" our logbook with their personal stamp!
