The coordinates will take you up to Buckland's Hill. The lesser known lookout in Charters Towers.
Sir Thomas Buckland was the first gold assayer of this area. He later became a gold mill owner and manager.
His house "Mount Alma" stood here on this hill.
It's up to you, if you enjoy the view first and than look for the cache or the other way round.
The picnic shelter on the little hill behind you also makes for a very nice lunch stop.
After 8pm the gates on the road will be locked, so you can't drive up, but you can still walk up the last 100 meters.
The cache container is quite small, but bigger than a Nano, and of course it is camouflaged.
You will have to bring your own writing instrument, since there was only room for the logbook and stashnote.
* * * CONGRATULATIONS to "summer'skoby" for the FTF! * * *
