There's NO reason not to be able to make all these grabs! A few
are tougher than others, but if you READ THE DESCRIPTION for each
cache, I tell you where to look! Harder, easier, I tell you where
to look and they really aren't too tough, so make sure you grab
them all. Don't let passing muggles see you with the caches or
searching for them so none go missing and everyone who tries this
series should go home with AT LEAST sixteen more smileys at the end
of the day! That's pretty good for a nice ride's caching.
You'll notice every car slows to see why you're there. People out
here are all wondering what you're up to, please be stealthy! When
asked, I said I was doing field work for a botany class at the
JC.
Do yourself a favor and stop at the great old store in Caz and grab
something for lunch up the hill. There's a really beautiful spot at
the fifth cache where you'll want to hang out and relax, especially
if it's hot!
(Click here for a page you can print to make collecting
clues easier! There are many and it will simplify things a great
deal. TAKE IT WITH YOU TO EACH CACHE AND WRITE THE
CLUES.)
This is the first in a series of sixteen caches on a beautiful road
out of Cazadero. Find the easy caches and write down the clues
inside the cache containers, both the letter and the number on
the piece inside the lid, and put them in on a piece of paper,
no particular order necessary at this time. This will help you
solve the puzzle and find the final cache.
This particular cache is between two pullouts right next to a
redwood stump. Please re-cover lightly as found.
This series is based around the name of a classic book. The story
is not involved in the puzzle, just the name. The idea for the
series came from the endless caches that Honolulululu &
TheChamp have in Marin, some great fun and mostly easy smileys that
add up quickly. Gotta like that!
Once you have all the fifteen letter/number combinations, figure
out the title of the book and rearrange the letters, putting each
letter's number below the letter on your paper. You will have a two
word, fifteen letter title and each letter of the title will have a
number below it. The sixteenth cache in the series has the key to
putting the clues together to find the final. Just as the cache
series by Honolulululu & TheChamp, this series is an easy bunch
of smileys that take you to a bunch of nice areas and give a simple
puzzle to solve for the
final.
