The stagecoach used to run through here straight up over the hill where the old logging road is now.
Up the brook a little way there used to be an old grist mill. About 40 years ago I was fishing along this brook I came across a couple of grist mill stones along side of the brook. At that time I couldn’t see any signs of the old mill left there.
