Les icnites són
petjades fossilitzades, i prop de Cal Prat Barrina (a la Serra de
Castelltallat), hi ha una esplanada de roca al costat de la
carretera on se'n poden apreciar unes que són d'Entelodon, similar a
un porc senglar gegant, i que són de fa uns 30 milions
d'anys.
Al costat de les petjades, hi ha un panell informatiu amb
explicacions i il·lustracions molt interessants sobre la teoria del
material trobat allà. Aquestes icnites no són molt conegudes, però
no deixen de ser importants per a saber una mica més de la història
llunyana d'aquestes terres.
L'aproximació en vehicle es pot fer fàcilment per la carretera
asfaltada entre Prades i Castelltallat.
El cache es troba a una distància prudencial de les petjades, en un
lloc de fàcil accés.

The ichnites are
fossilized footprints and near Cal Prat Barrina (in the Serra de
Castelltallat), there is a rock yard beside the road, where
there can be appreciated that some of them are of Entelodon, similar to
a giant boar, which are about 30 million years ago.
Near the footprints there is a panel with interesting informative
explanations and illustrations about the theory of the material
found there. These ichnites are not well known, but no longer
important to know a little more about the history of these
lands.
The approach by car it can easily be done by car to the asphalt
road between Prades and Castelltallat.
The cache is located in a reasonable distance from the footprints,
in an easily accessible place.
