Geocache Description:

This is the Mackinaw Area Historic Village's largest white pine, Michigan's state tree. It was lumber from the white pine that was used to rebuild Chicago after the great fire of 1871.

Also during that time period, many lighthouses were built along Michigan's western shore to aid in ship navigation as the schooners came to transport white pine and other materials to Chicago.

The cache is an ammo can filled with bugs. This is also a place for travel bugs to rest before moving on. Some bush wacking is needed.

F-T-F- Coffee and Tea - Congratulations!
