Enjoy this quiet escape through a valley of establishing native
bush, which now extends through the pristine Poutoa Valley through
Ruapehu Drive to Cliff Road. Don’t be put off by the steep
access points – the walkway soon levels out!
The walkway is a distance 2.8 kilometres with a contour steep
access points, remainder flat to rolling. The surface is gravel,
steps at Jasmine Place. Access points are at the following
locations Jasmine Place, Summerhill Drive, Greenwood Place,
Aokautere Drive, Ruapehu Drive and Cliff Road. The walkway also has
conveniently placed picnic benches and seats. Come and enjoy a very
special attractions of a spectacular Valley views and native
bush.
The cache when placed was a 200ml clear sistema with a logbook,
pencil and a few swaps.
Please NOTE that you must sign the
logbook for each individual cachers or proof of a photo for group
logs, otherwise your log may be deleted.
