Geocache Description:

NO PAPER! NO FIND! NO EXCEPTION! THE TOOL AND CACHE ARE IN TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. ADDING PAPER TO THE TOOL AND CALLING IT A LOG IS NOT FINDING THIS PUZZLE.

If you do not use the tools provided, then you have not completed the puzzle successfully and by honor, you should not log this cache as found.

ABOUT THIS SERIES:
Monkey's use of tools show how similar humans and animals are in terms of problem solving skills and intelligence. Some Monkeys See other monkeys use tools and then those Monkeys Do the same thing (Monkey See Monkey Do). Monkey See Monkey Do is a series of caches in which you'll have to think like a monkey and figure out how to retrieve each cache by finding an object in the area that you can use as a tool or solution to retrieve the cache log. You are not required to bring a tool or create a tool as one is provided somewhere in the area, so please look for the solution as you look for the cache. But knowing where the cache is will help you figure out what kind of a solution to use.

This caches are rated due to the challenge for the cache hunter to use problem solving skills and intelligence to find. Some experienced cachers may consider this series a one-star difficulty rating. When logging, please rate this cache based on your experience.

If you like logic puzzles then these caches are for you. If you are easily frustrated at your inability to solve logic problems, then it's best you skip this series rather than damage the cache and surrounding area.

ABOUT THIS CACHE:
THE SOLUTION TO THIS PUZZLE IS TO USE THE TOOL PROVIDED!

YES, the cache is at the above coordinates. The puzzle is to figure out how to find and retrieve the cache without damaging the structure that holds it, and then replacing everything EXACTLY as you found it after you sign the log. (Please don't make it too easy for the next Geocacher!)

For this cache, you'll have to think like a monkey and find a hidden object—"In the tunnel," in the pile of the stones, behind book number one—that you can use as a tool to retrieve the log.

  • You are not required to bring tools or create tools as they are provided near the cache.
  • The tool does NOT go into the cache!
  • Do not use sticks, stones or objects other than the tool, as they do more harm than good.

When you find the tool, you'll know it!

Please have patience! You may think you have found the solution only to discover you'll need to try again. I have set up this puzzle and know all the correct things to do and it still takes me several tries to retrieve the log.

Check the attributes of this cache before you head out please.
This cache is rated four-stars of difficulty due to the challenge for the cache hunter to use problem solving skills and intelligence to find. Some experienced cachers may consider this a one-star difficulty rating. If you like logic puzzles then this cache is for you. If you are easily frustrated at your inability to solve logic problems, then it's best you skip this cache rather than damage the cache and surrounding area.

If you are unable to find and retrieve the cache, please do not remove objects from the area as you may be removing the tool.

This cache is placed on public property to blend in with the environment in such a way as not to be easily noticed by muggles and not to damage property by geocachers. Please replace the cache so that the following statement is both true upon your arrival and after your departure: If it does not easily open, move, unscrew, etc—then it's probably not the cache. If you are going to move aside any plants, please do so gently as not to cause any damage. The cache can remain at it's location as long as no noticeable wear-and-tear is created by it's placement.

Did I mention the solution to this puzzle is to use the tool provided?
