The Cub Scout program in the US began in 1930 and currently is open
to boys in 1st through 5th grades. The Cub Scouts offers fun and
challenging experiences that inspire confidence and teach important
values. Cub Scout Geocaching is an important addition to the Scout
program. This cache is designed with the Cub Scout and other young
children in mind. Please leave appropriate toys and "swag" for
young people of all programs.
In addition to this cache, we have hidden seven other caches
that highlight the "Treasures of Scouting" and twelve "Cache to
Eagle" caches that highlight eagle projects within the PA Dutch
Council.
You are looking for a sandwich size lock-n-lock container in
Noel S. Dorwart Memorial Park. The park is a very popular place to
walk your dog. It has crushed stone walking trails. The park is
open only during daylight hours. There are also a number of other
geocaches in the park.

There is a new PA Dutch Council patch for the FTF (First to
Find). Please be "courteous" and take the FTF prize from only one
geocache in this series.
Eight geocaches have been placed for the PA Dutch Council Treasures
of Scouting series. Find the geocaches and record the code
word/phrase on your tracking sheet. The code words are on a
laminated card and on the inside cover of the log book. When you
have found all eight geocaches, mail your completed tracking sheet
to the address at the bottom of the sheet to be entered in a
monthly drawing for one of 30 unactivated BSA 2010 geocoins. Two
geocoins will be awarded each month until the supply is exhausted.
Your entry will remain eligible throughout the program.
