You are looking for a coffee-can sized container. It is filled with goodies to trade. Just be careful....there may be more than just muggles watching!!
You will find this cache at the intersection of Sandhills Road and U.S. 1 - the heart of the Diggs community. This area was once the center of a small community that has decreased over time.... So much so that the book "Buried Treasures You Can Find" by Robert Marx (2003, RAM publishing) lists Diggs as a ghost town.... of course, that may come as a surprise to the handful of families that still live around here!
This area is also the epicenter of a number of mysterious stories. According to the most excellent website, www.theshadowlands.net, this stretch of U.S. 1 between Rockingham and the NC/SC border is haunted at night by a ghostly bride:
"She will stop you and ask you for a ride and she will get in and you go down the road and look back and she will be gone."
So think twice if someone asks you for a ride along this stretch of road.
